“This is a good foundation for more oily skin as it doesn't give the dewy glow like the Sheer Glow foundation by NARS. The steep price is a drawback though, so I still would get the Revlon Colorstay foundations over this one....”

i was debating to either get this or the make up forever HD invisible foundation. i ended up getting MUFE. would u say this was a better choice or no?

Do you prefer the Sheer Matte or Glow for combination skins? I have Glow and really enjoy the finish, but I can get a bit of shine (vs. glow) going by the end of the day if I don't blot/powder in the afternoon.

stellabella - try a face primer that also has moisture in it before applying a liquid foundation. there are also hydrating mists. There is one by GLO minerals which you can find at beauty brands. You can spray it before makeup application and during the day over makeup to hydrate your skin

“i have to send this back :( i wanted it to work for me. i've tried all kinds of foundation but revlon colorstay is working best for me now. better than mac and i can now say its better than nars. if i didnt have 34057093 blemishes and redness, this would be a good foundation. i like the smell and the wearability. i work two jobs and a lot of times i work doubles and this foundation doesnt last all day long. i realize that no foundation would last that long without touchups but this tends to settle into fine lines a little more than a $42 foundation should. it dries quickly when applying so you have to work fast or risk using too much product and, at this price, you dont want to cake it on. it keeps my face fairly matte and, like i said, i work a lot, but it doesnt last more than 8 hours even with mac setting powder. if i wanted to sit around and look beautiful, this would be my pick.”
“At first I absolutely LOVED it, but it was only because it was my first "high end" foundation. It's not as matte as I wished, it's more of a satin. And you have to set it and use a primer with it, doesn't stay on as long without it. It gives a nice coverage and gives a natural look. I recommend it, but personally, I don't think I'm gonna re-purchase.”
