“Really good movie. It's based on a television show called Firefly. It was on SciFi Channel and created quite a following. Where the first and only season ended, the movie picks up. For those who aren't familiar with the show it's still a good movie. You don't need to see the show to know what's going on.”

“This was a superb movie. The CG, acting, and plot were great. It's science fiction so if you don't like that genre than I suggest skipping it. There was also a TV series made.”

“Doesn't answer all of the questions left from the TV series, but it's a satisfying ending. Any fan of the TV show would enjoy the movie. If you haven't, make sure to watch the TV show first!”

“Serenity is the long anticipated sequel to the TV show Firefly, written and directed by Joss Whedon. The acting is good and the plot develops the characters a lot further than the show left us with. There are some "inside jokes" that are taken from the TV show however if you haven't seen the show you will still find them funny. It doesn't matter if you have never seen Firefly because this develops the whole story and provides a full plot. It's almost as if it wasn't even based off the TV show.”
