“Holy testosterone fest, loved it. This is a guy movie 100%. There was a scene or two that seemed like excuses to bring in more big name actors, but I loved it. Still makes me laugh when I think of the Schwarzenegger/President crack. Definitely recommend to those 80's action movie fans like me, but don't come looking for a well told and sensitive story, it ain't here.”

riddlefish So, I accept that the action scenes are probably incredible, but don't lie, is the dialogue atrocious?

Shuxian I was told by my cousin: half way through the movie, his friend asked him: how come the story hasn't started yet? Basically, there's no story at all.

mitchcraig My Wife thought it was OK. I think that a good movie gets you emotionally involved and the story,damsel in distress, will speak to a primal emotion in men to save the girl and be the hero. It's not that a woman wouldn't enjoy it, I just think most men are going to connect with it more.

mitchcraig riddlefish, I thought the dialogue was ok, it's not awful. I think there may be some who would be put off by the number of F-bombs. No Oscar caliber performances.

gkruis I thought it was hilarious. The Americanese in it is just brilliant. At the end of the movie he gives the woman a ton of money and tells her to jump start the economy of her tiny, destitute country that he just blew to shit. Ha.

“For what it is, a big, dumb, 80's homage action movie, except with much more bloody, realistic violence (ya know, like bodies blowing up and many gun shot wounds taking apart people), all the familiar faces from back in the day, too much foul language (did the 80's have that?), what was I talking about? It was terrible but I loved it!”
