“I hate this place but I can't stay away.”

“Earth Cafe Vegan Cheesecake. NOT in my budget. $5.99 a pop. Went a little vegan-treat-splurge-wild this month and tried almost all the varieties. Must to curb indulgence.

Find it in the fridge section of the bakery. It doesn't come on a plate with dots of raspberry sauce as picture above. But more power to you if you don't eat it in the car on the way home and have the wherewithal to pull that dotted plate gimmick off.

Raspberry wins, with Strawberry and Blueberry grabbing silver and bronze.

I think even the meat-eaterest of meat-eaters would delight in this. Just a hunch.”

“Hemp Milk

I'm trying to jump on the healthy ahem band wagon here as much as I can .. lol not completely but taking baby steps. I recently started drinking Hemp Milk (non-dairy). It is a natural source of Omega 3&6 and other goodies. They have it in the flavors Original, Vanilla and Chocolate. I bought all three but only tasted Original and Vanilla... it is quite tasty. It does not taste like milk.. it has a kick to it, a little more on the nutty side (Vanilla). Original is good too. A carton only has 32 fl. oz. which is less than a gallon of milk and just a tad bit pricey but much healthier. This lady I met there bought a whole cart full...says she feeds her kids this. She mixes Original and Chocolate so the hemp taste isn't too strong. Tell me if you have tried or want to try hemp milk!

ps. I find that different brands taste diff. for some reason b/c the first time I tried Hemp milk (last year) I got the Living Harvest brand and it was nasty!! This time I got the Pacific brand and it's yummy!
