where? I paid $3.91 for super this morning (in Phoenix)... in a sick and twisted way, I was happy about it, since I passed a number of places that were over $4

I think it was in Hollywood, actually. I think the cheapest I've seen in LA for a while is $4.25. It's a sad day when I see that price and think it's decent.

There's one place over in Beverly Hills that is RIDICULOUSLY expensive compared to EVERYWHERE ELSE. I think it's on Crescent? Seriously, THE WORST!
