“While in a nearby town, I happened upon a mythical post office with happy - nay, giddy - window attendants.”
“They seriously lost ten bills I sent. Because there was no tracking, I was SOL. The mail sucks out here in the Arctic Circle.”
“Sent packages of post cards from TNY supporters (w/ encouraging notes & prayers) to five troops overseas!”
“Mailin' stuff to
@Blorp! Stuff like...Twinkies, stickers and coffee! (Maybe I should've just kept it for myself...)”
“Shipped a package to Hawaii for my nieces.”
“Pros include having a fair amount of locations as well as being able to ship on Saturdays without an additional charge. Priority Mail shipping method is reasonably priced and very quick, all across the US.
I don't particularly like how they always seem condescending when I'm there though. As if they feel everyone knows what every option there includes and the details. Not everyone goes to the USPS every day and uses all their features. :/”
“mailing birthday presents and buying postcard stamps!”
“Postage to Vermont for the yellow "twins" shirt from Tegan and Sara.”
“I mailed a few packages. Then they gave my kid a free coloring book. I mean, I liked it, but, I'm not sure that I like the idea that they keep raising the price of stamps...so they can publish cute coloring books for children? Hmmmm...”
“Shipping a book. Selling all my books on amazon. Tired of carrying them from apartment to apartment.”
“Charge for my change of address online registration.”
“Mailin' a cookbook I sold on etsy. For once the post office wasn't busy...it was like some kind of alternate universe post office or something!”
“Have you guys heard "Slow and steady wins the race?" That applies to the USPS. They're slow, but reliable.”
“I really like the post office! If I mail something within a few miles, it gets there the next day. I also can't remember the last time I had something get lost in the mail. To help them out, I write checks and mail them instead of paying bills online.”
“Why someone would request a review of my transaction with the United States Postal Service is a bit beyond me. But I sold a couple of books on amazon, and shipped them out using Media Mail for about half the price of First Class. Worked out well. Except for amazon's huge blood commission. But I'm willing to put up with that for the convenience.”
“Waited in line for 20 min to send back a pair of gloves, and I think they sent them to the wrong place. Awesomeeeeee.”
“cost for sending an envelope via certified mail.”
