What is “Google”?
With the mantra/mission statement of "Don't be evil," Google has forever altered the landscape of internet searching, email, advertisement, and countless other fields. Best of all, it is free to use (unless you are the one paying for ads.) It's hard to imagine navigating the potentially treacherous rapids of the internet without the trusty lifeboat that is Google search, and with the omnipotent position Google is in, we won't have to for a very long time.
They own such things as the Android OS for mobile phones, and the popular video service, YouTube.
