“we went to the north coast music festival this weekend, mostly for de la soul. there were some other good sets and also some terribly disappointing sets but that's not why we went to seven eleven. we went to seven eleven because wife and i had some hamburgers for dinner from the rock bottom bar and grill or something and i think she paid so it's not gonna show up on blippy because she has all the money but basically we realized that she had some substantial leftovers and the fest doesn't allow outside food. so we buy a box of sandwich bags from 7-11 and i cram one full of half a cheeseburger and the other one full of the mushroom medley she had as a side. now i'm not a fan of mushrooms but i got the job done. at first i wrapped up the leftovers inside her scarf but then i realized how suspicious that must have looked so i decided to move the scarf to the main pocket, the leftovers to the side pocket, and the baggies to her bag. you see the scarf was a decoy so if they were really suspicious they would be WHATS IN THIS SCARF oh nothing and forget about the leftovers. but anyhow they just patted the bottom and looked at my copy of rick perlstein's "nixonland" and let me go in. i mean i can think of multiple ways i could have sneaked in all sorts of drugs when really i was just trying to bring home half a cheeseburger for the week ahead. never mind that we didn't even want to eat it in there. they only care that you could POTENTIALLY be reducing the income stream of their food vendors but we really just wanted to go restaurant fest home instead of some other order. but i mean ultimately the system works, they don't give enough of a shit. i could have had drugs is all i'm saying.
anyhow, i would not recommend 7-11 because they don't have baked potato taquitos anymore.”
