“Got a Casio Privia PX830 digital piano for home. It's amazingly realistic -- feels & sounds very much like a real piano. Looks great too. Kind of a pain in the ass to assemble... sorta like a dresser from Ikea or something. Very happy with it though.”

“My husband and I only go here to get used gear or maintenance stuff ( like strings, sticks)...Overall, I don't really like Guitar Center anymore. It seems like ever since the company was bought out, they only hire ppl that are music lovers and not music professionals.
They barely help us, and they are opinionated about gear, but a lot of their facts are wrong...It even seems that their selection and quality of gear has diminished. They get new gear in later than BEST BUY!! I've seen it time and again since last year!! I believe that Guitar Center is good for music hobbyists and enthusiasts, but for the true working musician, I can't say they float my boat. Sorry...”

“Can't believe I just spent 200 bucks at Guitar Center. AAHH Guitar Center West LA. I had a photo shoot that day and I had to bring my drum kit. The drums were rolling around in the car...had an hour to waste so we went to GC. Then I ended up walking out with some drum cases..Impulse buy but protection for my drums are totally cool too. ”

“I bought these drumsticks called "hot rods," that are designed to enable you to play drums more quietly. But I found that they sound awesome when you tap them on the steering wheel and dashboard of your car, which is fun during my commute.”
