“Lol. You'd think claymation would be super stupid, right? No. They totally poke fun at the fact that the episode is in claymation, and keep a level of reality somehow throughout. It's pretty hilarious. AND this episode got my Turkish friend to renounce his hatred of Christmas. So there has to be something magical about that, right?”

“This was a weird episode.
I liked it, but it was drastically different from every other Community episode. It made the show seem like a drama. I really think that the goal of this episode was to write the most depressing birthday episode ever. Which is kind of funny, I guess. ;p
The good thing about the episode was that it showed that Community can handle having real issues on the show. We got a lot of character-revealing situations and backstory. They set up so much that I'm interested to see how they handle what happened in later episodes.”

“Ok, so I know I come on here every week and tell you how amazing Community is, but seriously you guys, this episode is definitely in my top 5 favorites of all time. One of my friends liked it so much he called it "the best bottle episode ever." It made me want to play Dungeons and Dragons--that's how funny it was. “You guys. YOU GUYS. This episode was SO FUNNY. I was such a huge fan it's nuts. The Pierce/Annie pairing was fun and new, and it really let us in on some great backstory for both of them. Chang's performance was...just hilarious. And he totally gave me an "OMGWTF?!" moment at the end with just like one line. The B and C plotlines were somewhat weak, I'll admit, but the main story and the play in general was funny enough that I didn't care. Watch it. That is all.”
