fnoo How do the magnetic balls work? I've always gotten a kick out of science toys; whenever my parents would drag me to the Science Museum in Boston, I would spend ages in the gift shop oohing over magnetic sculptures and astronaut ice cream.

jerrysummers There loads of fun. My 6 year old loves them but adults seem to love them more. Great conversation piece for a coffee table or in your office. Everybody loves to play with them. Just don't tell them how much they cost because they will think your nuts or they will walk off with them lol

fnoo I mean, what's the mechanism? Is this one of those magnetic platforms, with a bunch of balls on top that you can sculpt with?

jerrysummers No these are like I forget how many but like 300 something small ball magnets that all stick to each other. You can arrange them in all kinds of configurations and they are really strong.
