Mugabe and the White African Reviews

“Old white colonialists who run a big ranching operation in the ex-British colony of Rhodesia tell their hard luck story of having their land repossessed by decree of President Mugabe. They are blinded by tradition and a martyr's sense of pride, so despite being threatened, firebombed and even beaten to near death by thugs, they still are entirely unable to comprehend that it might be time to get their ignorant white asses out of Zimbabwe before they get themselves killed.”

“Really kind of depressing depiction of the racism against White Africans in Zimbabwe. Informative and sometimes uncomfortable to watch because of some of the situations that arise.”
“This is an interesting documentary about land reform in Zimbabwe. 70% of the best farm land in Zimbabwe was owned by white farmers. When Mugabe took power, "land reform" basically meant redistributing the farm land to the majority, often times by force. Today there are very few farms owned by whites, who have either been forced to learn new trades or who have been driven out of Zimbabwe all together. This documentary is the emotional story of the resistance of one of the last white farmers.”
