How do you use these? Just curious.

Gave them all out as presents, but apparently you soak them in water, put them on the grill and then whatever you're grilling on top of them. Gives you a nice smokey taste and keeps stuff from sticking to the grill.

That's a great idea. I guess I didn't realize cedar conducted heat so well (I feel like that sounds really stupid). What kind of grill are we talking? I imagine it would be hard to keep the wood from burning on certain types?
