Agreed. I usually like Steve Carrell in wacky roles, but this didn't click for me. What was your problem with it?

I thought it was okay. I'm only 14 though so..yah know. I laughed a few times in the theater. But I don't wish to see it again.

i totally agree. i thought this was going to be sooo funny but it wasnt at all. im glad i didnt see it in theaters

was not as funny as I anticipated. With that kind of a cast, it should've been better.

“I didn't know what to expect going into this movie. Critics reviews were mixed, as were the reviews of the general public. But personally I really enjoyed it. The subtle humor played alongside the outrageous slapstick is reminiscent of the Marx Brothers of yesteryear. Steve Carrell plays a goofy, moronic idiot, with a lovable side that protrudes as the movie progresses. Paul Rudd is the straightforward businessman trying to be seen from the 7th floor, and finally get his chance to get out of the cabbage scented 6th floor. Altogether it's a very funny movie, definitely worth a watch. 6.3/10”

“Had some funny parts, decent flick, nothing great but worth a watch, especially if you are a Rudd or a Carrell fan.”
“In one word = disappointment. I was looking forward to watching this movie for months, it was not what I expected. I know this was a re-make, but I never saw the first. I was under the impression that the entire movie took place over this dinner. Not the case. Although it did have some funny parts, I wouldn't watch it again.”
