“MyLikes is a platform that pays you for advocating for products you enjoy on behalf of brands. Brands list offers, and you generate revenue based on leads you deliver from your social graph. I kind of like this idea because a lot of people I know buy tech products I recommend, and it'd be nice to get a thank you from the brands I support. However, this model is only successful in the long-run if people really only recommend products they believe in. If it just becomes an effort to make money, credibility goes out the window. I'm not sure enough people have discipline for this to really work out.”
