“Deposit to reconstruct my dog's knee. Vets always told me to watch his weight. Obesity is a major risk factor for knee injuries in dogs. I always figured there's some guy in Mexico who weights like 1100 pound...and he just got married!! His knees, while chubby, are fully functional. What's a couple extra pounds on my dog?! Lesson learned. DO NOT let your dog get fat.”

Awwww. You're a good person fixing up doggie like that. May I suggest some water therapy once it's okayed by your vet. That way he/she can build back up the muscles without too much stress on the repaired joint.
