“After watching this doc i've been left with a few notions:
1) damn those multi-national corps!
2) standardization = bad?
3) fuck the monsanto nazis
4) organic food ftw!
5) wth corn is in EVERYTHING!?

This doc was very well done, it keeps the audience intrigued the whole way through the film, while managing to tell a very convincing story about the atrocities that the big meat corporations are trying to hide from consumers. In the manner of Siskel and Ebert (check out that throw back) i give this film two thumbs up.

Side note: when it comes to documentaries like Food, Inc. try to take everything with a grain of salt =)”

“This is a a hell of a documentary. So much information, and majority of it is in depth. I loved the way they put out a lot of the food industries dirty little secrets out there, and how the government is backing them up. In somewhat unconstitutional ways. Watch this movie it will so motivate you to do something about it.”

“Great but frightening. Will change your eating habits!”

“Nothing amazing. Most of the stuff was common knowledge. I can't believe it made two people i know vegitarian. It was not that good at all.”
“Perhaps the most important movie documentary of the last ten years. This will completely change your view of the food you consume. And our hero, Joel Salatin of Virginia's Polyface Farms, is an amazingly charismatic guy who just might change your life - if the terrible state of the industrial food you eat doesn't first.”
“I was trying not to see this documentory for the longest time until I just gave in. I don't regret it this was truly an eye opener. Watch it!”
“An eye opening documentary about the American food industry. ”

“AMAZING Eye opening documentary about the American food industry. ”
“This was a good documentary. It was really informative and eye opening. If you are happy with your fast food, don't watch this, it will change your mind about what you eat for sure.”
“Watched it in school.
Will gross you out.
Glad i don't eat meat.”
“my brother actually watched this, not me..... but I'll still say go for it!”
“This made me not want to eat meat anymore for about 30 minutes, then I went back to being a carnivore. It really wasn't that controversial or shocking, I already know that the meat industry isn't the most humane and the film didn't teach me anything new. Except that humans are dependent on food. Duh.”
“Pretty excellent movie. Makes me not want to eat chicken and go out for fast food. Organic/sustainable food FTW!”
“Great film. Lets me know what places to (continue to) patronize and what kind of food I should be eating. Now, if I could only be better at controlling the QUANTITY of food that I eat...”
“Wow. Kind of eye opening. You knew it all in the back of your head, but this pulls it all together.”
