“Dolphin killers Suck. This movie was easy to watch without too much gratuitous vioence, but definitely impactful. I was about to book the next flight to taiji japan (where this takes place) with my surf board. Well I don't have a surf board actually. Which is fortunate for me because I would have arrived to find that the killing has effectively been stopped. But I have promised myself never to go to a seaworld...or swim with dolphins to perpetuate this trade. If you've got a soft spot for conservation minded documentaries you'll likely appreciate this movie.”

“Really interesting documentary about the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of dolphins in a secret cove in Japan. This is a fascinating movie. The movie has a strong point of view, but well worth watching.”
“ric o'barry is a hardcore badass no joke. watching it was actually very suspenseful. i think i really liked it because i love to watch whale wars. im not necessarily an animal rights activist but this doc could make me want to be one.”

“As gripping as Ocean's 11, yet all the more thrilling because it tells a true story of a team of activists, who set out to reveal the slaughter which takes place in a hidden Japanese cove. The horrific way in which these fisherman treat some of the most intelligent creatures on this planet is saddening though, and certain rather bloody scenes will leave an indelible imprint in your memory.”
“I already knew about the dolphin hunts in Taiji, but this movie really brought pictures to the facts. Heart-wrenching and moving. Ric O'Barry and team does a splendid job of framing his efforts for the masses.

If you have about 2 hours and want to learn more about Japan's whaling efforts, watch this movie. I admit it's a bit propagandized, but that is expected when it comes to a controversial issue that people are passionate about.”
“This is an important and well done movie. Highlights the dolphin killing going on in Japan every year - sad.”
“Haven't watched all of this... Heard it was worth the watch. Will update this when I get to the end.”
“Powerful, well put together documentary. Really quite eye opening. Not to mention suspenseful.”
“Super insightful and daring. Highly recommended!”
“I liked it a lot.”
“This movie was amazing - It will change your view on dolphins, and Japan.”
“Very interesting, learned a lot, makes me not want to go see the shows anymore and join in to help the dolphins”
“By far the saddest documentary I've ever sen. This is a must watch, I feel like I have to do something now. 100/10!”
“Amazing.”
“Good documentary. I thought it was jarring the way they jumped back and forth between the mercury story, and the dolphins are amazing and we shouldn't kill them story.”
“Sad but a good watch. I dno if it should've won best documentary of the year though...”

“Daring animal activists arrive with surveillance equipment at a scenic cove in Taijii, Japan, to capture footage of a secretive and heavily guarded operation run by the world's largest supplier of dolphins. As the group sets out to expose the horrifying truths behind the capture of dolphins for the lucrative tourist industry, they also uncover an environmental catastrophe. Louie Psihoyos directs this riveting, Oscar-winning documentary.”
“Heartbreaking, but beautifully put together documentary.”
