“I watched this movie years ago but it was way better than I remembered. Stunning cinematography reminiscent of baroque paintings. Two phenomenal lead performances from Carradine and Keitel. Exciting swordfights that feel true to life and authentic, not like the "swashbuckling" we typically see in films. And the final sequence is note-perfect. Definitely among the top tier of Ridley Scott movies (and it was his debut!)
