I saw this not long after it was first aired. I rarely shop at Wal-Mart - I did maybe once in the last year. They just do or fail to do too many things that I just don't agree with. Even assuming they have the lowest prices - which they don't always - there is a price to everything beyond just the dollar amount.

In other words, there's a price to pay for trying to be cheap. Yes. Walmart has indeed had a negative affect on our economy. In one regard, they do help to keep inflation in check, but on the other hand, now that there is one in every street corner..... Nothing in that store is made here. Some food is... But.... It's too late now. Things will NEVER be like they used too. No president can simply "bring back jobs". We are fkd!

Yeah, the doc called Walmart a chinese corporation with American board members. The only way to stop them is to educate people at a grassroots level about the nefarious impact the company has on communities. I was part of a group that petitioned to stop Walmart from moving into Ventura, CA by raising 10,000 signatures to put a measure on the ballot and let the people decide. Happy to say the good people of that city voted against allowing the parasites in. :)
