Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths Reviews

“WOW. I generally listen to TV while I'm doing something else. I can't do that when the show is really, really good, like Smallville or Dr. Who or BSG (although I confess I occasionally do and then have to rewind - I guess I've developing a short attention span) (or a Zynga addiction, one). I found out close to the beginning of this that I could NOT just listen. And why I would not want to WATCH is beyond me anyway - the artwork/animation was incredible. And the story? Wow. I found myself liking Owlman in a perverse sort of way.
I need to find some Justice League things that have both Batman and Green Arrow in them. Much as I love Green Arrow, my heart has always belonged to Batman - since I was, like, 3 or 4. This brought back memories of watching the SuperFriends (in my queue, just not available instantly). Watching this and Justice League: Secret Origins (which I bought on Amazon and then of course got today in the first disk of that season), I remembered exactly why I always loved Batman over Superman. He's just... Batman. So I'm fascinated to see, if they were both together - and animated - which character I would like more. After all, the animated Green Arrow would have the disadvantage of not being Justin Hartley. :-)
I finished season 2 of The Sarah Jane Adventures and now have ALL of the JL, JLU, and I *think* old Superfriends episodes up next in my DVD queue. I have a lot of Batman in there, too, but got tired of trying to organize everything at the top, so they are down in the 450 range right now. :-) I'll move them to the top later...
I was going to actually go to my local comic book shop for the first time Friday, but it was 11am and they didn't open until noon, and I never got back over there. Ah well. I will eventually. Must. Have. Green Arrow comics!!!!”

“This is a solid, stand alone telling of the Crisis on Two Earths. Nerdy enough for the super fans without being off-putting for newcomers.”
