This sounds like a tearjerker. Why are the kids suffering? What's this movie about anyway?

Its about a kid who has cancer and is dieing. He sends letters to god via the post office and he comes in contact with a Postman who wants nothing to do with life and cares about nothing. This little kid changes his life.
