“I remember reading about this guy when it happened a few years ago. I remember thinking to myself, "What a story." And it was. A bit sad, but it's a positive ending to a dismal situation in one's life. I think I would have handled it a bit differently, I likely would have died. meh, maybe not.”

I hear many drugs are recyclable through drinking your own urine, which is my solution to that conundrum: stay as fucked up as possible as much as possible so that if I ever get in a 127hours situation my pee'll be like a Dead Heads dream cocktail of psychedelic bliss. I'll be tripping out double time when I have to cut off my arm. Unfortunately maintaining an LSD filled bladder makes the Rawlston situation much more likely.

this movie was far more engaging than it had any right to be. when they started playing sigur ros at the end it was so unfair to the emotions.

“127 is a great movie capturing the character of Aron Ralston, biker/climber extrordinaire! Excellent lead-up to the main event with squeeze & drop into the pool with the ladies! Danny Boyle's writing, production & direction is wonderful. Aron's "will to live" is incredible; drinking own pee & hacking off own arm. Aron's character reminds me of Christopher McCandless in "Into the wild" by John Krakauer.”
