“Most people use the same password for everything. You're asking for trouble. 1Password sets up & stores unique passwords for all your various accounts. And using it is less of a pain in the ass than you think it'll be. Also, it's good for storing credit card numbers and such, so you never have to open your wallet to buy something online.”
“This is an excellent program. Syncs with your desktop and/or phone via Dropbox. Very easy to use.”
“I had really lousy passwords for a bunch of web services some of which dated back as far as my BBS days. Not surprisingly, eventually a couple accounts got accessed. It wasn't anything serious, but it was annoying, and it ate up a bunch of time. I went and bought 1Password for my Mac and for iOS that day.
I won't say I love it - password managers are a hassle for sure. And it's not directly integrated into Safari on iOS. That's really annoying on an iPad where you'll be browsing along and suddenly have to hop out to a different app. And typing a long, complex master password on an iPhone keyboard is very difficult.
Having said that, everything else about it is pretty great. It's a clean interface. It syncs multiple devices. It's stable on the iPhone. I have my passwords and security codes for everything wherever I go, and that really wasn't true at all before. So things are better since I bought it.
I've gotten 4 or 5 other friends to buy it. The only complaint I've gotten so far is that Android support is sort of lacking. Other than that, they all like it too. If you have a Mac and an iOS device, this is probably your best choice for a password manager.”
“It is very easy to keep things organized. ”
“Didn't really use enough to write a good review”
“Used to use ewallet but
@pud convinced me to use this. It's great except that i don't like how there's no global search and you have to choose the category of password first before you search. On the computer it's a bit easier actually. Anyhow, it all syncs via dropbox and they claim it's super secure. Hope they're right.”
“Best password app in the world. Period.”
“Sweet! I never have to think about passwords. Just look 'em up when I need 'em. Really handy to carry them around on my iphone. ”
“Could not live without this program. I have integrate it with Dropbox and sync with multiple computers and mobile devices.”
“I highly recommend this app, but mainly as a companion to the desktop version on the mac. There is also a Windows version in beta which promises to be every bit as good as the mac version. I mainly use this to look up passwords, pins and other private info whilst out and about.
So far the developers seem to be very hot on the development side of things and there are frequent bug fixes and feature additions which demonstrates their commitment to your purchase.”
“Great app, took a little getting used to in the beginning but once you've got it setup it's easily the best password manager I've used. The cross platform sync via dropbox is also a great feature, has been working flawless between my computers, ipad and iphone!!”
“I can't live without 1Password Pro. I have it generate humongous passwords for my accounts and everything lives peacefully in here. I have two levels of passwords set, one is a 4 digit password just to open the app and the other is a long alphanumberic that lets me access secure notes, CC info, Health Insurance numbers, and passwords. This has come in VERY handy multiple times.”
“Could not live without 1Password Pro. I use it on my Mac, my iPhone and my iPad.”
“awesome. my passwords, anywhere”
“Useful when synced with computer.”
“Got this because of everyone on here seeming to be buying it, and well its amazing. Really nice interface, better interface on ipad. Nice way to keep all my passwords safe. And a nice little feature that creates a password for you.
Took a while for me to figure out how to sync between devices, had to email the developers. The advised me i'd need the windows or mac version for this to possible. But after that, perfect. ”
“password input supporter. Pro is universal version.”
