I remember Meebo, I used to use it when I still had MSN Messenger. That was years ago, though. Have they added any new features recently?

Take a look at the uploaded picture. Notice anything other than my iPhone is on T-Mobile? Ah yes, the Meebo app is on the bottom row along with Safari, Mail, and Phone.
My lovely girlfriend lives in France, and GTalk is the number one way we stay in touch. Ever since I switched from my BlackBerry, I downloaded every iPhone chat app in disappointment. I downloaded this app the day it was released and have been overjoyed since then.
Bottom line, the Meebo app is the app I use *the most* on my iPhone and the main reason I no longer need to carry an iPhone *and* BlackBerry.”

“Meebo is the best multi chat apps for the iPhone. The best part is that it is free. A big con is you have to type all new account info into the iPhone. I switched to Trillian. It is not as user friendly and it cost money but I have a trillian app for my pc that I use while on the computer. I can enter info on the pc app and it updates the iPhone.”

“Works pretty well as far as mobile IM clients go. They run stuff through their servers so sometimes it's a little slow to sync up messages you've received in the background (and I'd be especially cautious about sensitive conversations), but you get push notifications w/out sucking down battery life *cough*skype*cough*. Supports all of the IM networks that I use and then some. Oh yeah, and it's free.”
