UberCab seems brilliant. Recently setup my account, haven't had a chance to use it yet but will soon.

“The signup process is horrendous, and as a result I have yet to use this. I spent about 5 minutes filling out the long registration form, and then clicked the link to view the terms of use before accepting. When I tapped to go back to the form, it had been reset, erasing all of the info I had painstakingly entered. Needless to say I was pissed, and haven't bothered to try it again.”
“I guess it's supposed to be like TaxiMagic -- which lets you summon taxis using your iPhone -- but for sedans & limos. The one time I tried to use it, it told me there was nothing in the area. In San Francisco. Will try it again sometime though. I love TaxiMagic, for what it's worth.”

“Can i be the first one to diss this app. So i am stranded in the mission looking for a cab on halloween weekend... 5..10...30 minutes go by and nothing. I download this thing, you know, since i heard so much about it. I try to get a cab but ahh you need to set up CC payments first. And then when you finally send a message like "16th and Valencia", it replies back with you need to be more specific than that! Okay... so i was with a st number, but then it says sorry no cabs available. Aiight... uber... or ubercab... thanks for not helping 1 bit. But the party at @john's was dope!!”
