What is “Cougar Town”?

A poorly-titled, underrated, improving-over-time show. Starts out to be a show about a divorced 40-something woman, plays by FRIENDS alumini Courtney Cox, deals with her life after her divorce by having younger boyfriends. However, the show took a different direction after a couple episodes, and now it focuses more on her life and her friends' life. However, because the show couldn't acquire the rights to change to the wanted title, the show remains COUGAR TOWN. The show is very well-done. The characters are so well played by all the actors. Tons of inside jokes. And if you like small details like me, look out for those director commentary in the title sequence. They are very funny. I love it when the show director can laugh at his creation.

Chollsy This is true.... But that is actually another reason I like it so much! The funniest stuff comes from at elast a grain of truth. ;)

riddlefish So funny--I love everything that comes out of Lori's mouth. And the Jules/Travis creepy parenting dynamic is HILARIOUS. They're definitely not afraid to get weird on that show. :)
