“Very Good. I liked the original however it is dated. This was a much need update with the gore and shock value the original lacks. Some movies are perfect for remakes and this was one of those movies, other movies they should leave alone, ones that are perfect the way they are.”

“The Crazies is a movie for thriller buffs and conspiracy theorists alike. It centers around an odd illness causing a town to fall apart. People develop catatonic like symptoms and become murderous for no apparent reason at all. Upon further investigation they uncover a plane carrying an unknown substance has crashed into the body of water that is their main water supply. When the sheriff and his doctor wife try to seek outside help they realize that their entire town has been cut off from the outside world. There is no escape from the sickness sweeping through their town. In true conspiracy form the government sweeps in promising salvation for the citizens but has other plans for them. After the sheriff's wife is labeled contaminated the sheriff will do anything and go through any measures to get them out safely. They avoid soldiers government agents, and the crazies in this thriller that is sure to make anyone jump at some point in time.”

“If you like horror movies and those movies made for the SciFi channel, then you'll probably like this... if you like good acting and decent special effects, probably not.”

“Fantastic movie! Rented it in Blu Ray and it was amazing. Its really hard for me to give horror movies such a high mark due to so many really bad movies. This film however earns a star on my wall of very good horror films. Its not spooky ghosts or sparkly vampires! Its a more realistic down to the earth situation which brings out the greatness of it.
The Human race against itself in this amazing film.”
