“Great Great App. You can sign up for a free 7 day trial to Sirius XM radio to test the programing. Needs a search function but otherwise it is easy to find content by categories, channel, add them to favorites for quick access. Click Buy on a song & it will launch iTunes App to purchase the song.

I use to have Sirius Radio a few years ago when my ex purchased me a year subscription & radio for a birthday gift. Howard Stern was leaving his NY home @ K-Rock & I was happy to get the Sirius :) I found the radio install to be a hassle & cancelled after a year. Required an antenna be wired to the roof of your car (not hard) but it is always exposed to the climate & found it would get damaged rather easy. It was difficult to find replacements & when you finally did they were just as expensive as a new radio so would opt for a new radio... (This was a time when broadband started to roll out & using dial up made searching the web for a deal a headache). The Radio would stick to an adhesive on your dashboard but it never stayed in place.

Anyway Howard Stern renewed his contract & will be now on the App version for the first time, So I finally download the app to test it out & I find that they have more ads then I remember... heard that is a result of the merger with XM.. I don't like the ads especially if I choose to pay for the service.. I wish Sirius had pricing explained better because for internet access to their service is $2.99 a month but I don't know if I am also required to subscribe to their regular service. I will only be using the services through my iPhone or computer not through their radio. $2.99 a month to listen to Howard Stern, Playboy Radio, Spice, Shade 45, Sports talk, Politics & more it would be a steal. If it is $15 a month I will stick to podcast, YouTube, Pandora & other free services.”
