“Pandora has always been a great site to use if you want to find new music that fits to your liking, or you want a random music generator in the background while you work. If you have an iPhone than this is great for being on the road and getting sick of your music library and wanting something new, but having it on an iPod using only wifi seems pretty unneeded when you can just open the website on a computer. So if you have an iPhone or have an iPod, but no computer at the moment, and you want to listen to new music, this is a good app to have.”

“i actually have no music on my iphone because i dont want to waste the space. I have an ipod for that. and i dont tend to listen to music on my iphone or ipod much anyway.
so not only is pandora great to begin with, its great for me because i dont have to put my itunes onto my phone. i just pick a station or style and it makes a playlist for me. its like the iTunes genius function but better because it might introduce you to some new music you wouldnt have found otherwise.”

“This is probably the single iPhone app I use the most. I literally leave it on for hours giving me deliciously varied free background music tailored to my tastes.
It doesn't have all the features of the full Pandora experience on an HTML browser. The one thing it can't do that drives me a little nuts is I can't 'move' a song over to another station as I like my stuff separated by tempo and tone.
Other than that I can listen to music, I can give a song a thumbs up or thumbs down and better tailor the station to my likes and dislikes, I can skip a song I just don't want to hear right NOW.

“I like Pandora I have been using it since it first came out. It helps me find new music that I might like based on what I already like. Because it is browser based it can be used on any platform, so I can go from my Mac to Linux and Pandora will still play. i use the free version so that does limit the number of hours you can stream per month and you do get advertisements. There is a premium version available for $36.00 which has a desktop application available and no limit on streaming. My one complaint about Pandora is that it is weak in the area of social media and sharing.”
