“It's an app the every iPhone 3Gs and earlier users should have because of the white screen can be used as a light. However iPhone 4 users has the LED light to see. So for the iPhone 4 users go to your camera and turn on the LED light on.”

“Pretty simple FREE app. A few different "flashlight" colours/options. White, red, other primary colours. And a few cool, "flashing"/strobe settings too. Good for use inside when you don't want to wake people by turning on the lights, but outside its pretty useless because it doesn't have much range.”

Nothing is better the the real but if you need it would work. The distance is not that far maybe one in a half feet to two feet. The iPhone 4 LED light is brighter and the distance is longer. If I would choose between both. I would choose the LED Light.
