The September Issue Reviews
Featured Review
“This documentary chronicles the months of work that go into Vogue's September issue through the eyes of some Vogue employees that work for Anna Wintour (the editor-in-chief). Anna is a fashion-visionary, but is incredibly cold, stubborn, and opinionated. The conflict and chaos this creates amongst the photographers, stylists, and designers at Vogue makes for a compelling movie. There is also an interesting sub-plot in which we learn that much of Anna's motivation comes from a feeling of insecurity about how the fashion industry is viewed by her successful siblings (they think its silly and whimsical).”

“Good documentary on the making of Vogue's September issue. Very Devil Wears Prada but in real life.”
“I'm not a big Vogue reader, but I'm a big fan about the complexities of laying out a magazine start to finish, and this film shows the whole process very well. Also, I'd like to do filthy things to Anna Wintour's hair.”
“This documentary is excellent! If you're into fashion, I highly recommend it. It gives more insight into Anna Wintour's life, and shows us a side of her that most of us never expected her to have. It makes me like Vogue even more!”
