“the long awaited climax to the epic Harry Potter series....and boy does this movie make you want to go for seconds! if you've been a follower since day one, seeing the growth of our three heroes from toddlers to full grown wizarding-goodness feels like some warm chicken soup for the soul! if not, well, better late than never right? now if we could just skip to next summer...”
“IT WAS SO GOOD!
I cried.
not because of sad. because of pretty. and amazing. and absolutely beautiful.”
“I can't wait...two more DAYS!”
“Best of the series yet. Very true to the book and the background score was brilliant.”
“Watched this opening Friday. This is definitely not really a kid movie anymore, considering the amount of intense thriller parts. I saw 3 little girls maybe around 5 years old, yeah, definitely should not have been there haha. But it is an awesome movie for sure, go see it if you remotely like Harry Potter.”
“This movie was awesome, it followed the book for the most part with a few exceptions to smaller details. If you have not read the book then you will be left hanging at the end, but obviously if you have you know what happens in the second movie. I would definitely recommend you to watch it, you will not be disappointed.”
“SOooo excited! WOOT!!!!!!!!”
“I'm just not a big fan of the Harry Potter series. What can I say :(”
“this was a great movie - felt more like a real drama than the other ones.”
“This movie was really amazing! I am a complete Harry Potter nerd and I have read all of the books multiple times. The reason I decided to read the books though, is because I loved the sixth movie. So watching this movie was a really different experience, as it is the only one that I have watched after reading the book first.
They cut out a few parts that I was sad about, like when Harry says goodbye to the Dursley's and most all of the scenes at Grimmauld Place, like when they finally gain Kreacher's trust, but for the most part kept in important parts. Because this movie is in two parts, I feel like they cut it in the best place possible. My heart was racing through the entire film and I was on the verge of tears for the majority of it, and tears spilled over in a few places, including Dobby's death.
Now for the big "scandal": the "nude" scene. In my opinion, people completely over-reacted. You don't see anything past the shoulders and it lasted hardly any time at all. I do think that it really was unnecessary, but it didn't ruin the movie for me in the least.
As unattractive as I have found Ron in the past, this movie made me really love him. He is so darling towards Hermione it's not even funny.
All in all, wonderful movie. I recommend it to everyone.”
“If you're a Harry Potter fan then of course you are gonna wanna see this. There's so much they are trying to fit in to these movies and it still feels a little rushed. If you're not a big Harry Potter fan, you probably won't have a great appeal with this movie. It's still a good movie overall, but not enough independent story for anyone who hasn't read the books.”
“Best Harry Potter movie yet! I almost forgot most of the stuff from the book so it was all a surprise.”
“This was a pretty amazing movie. Perfectly paced. Left a lot of holes out if you didn't read the book, in my opinion. Definitely worth watching!”
“Pretty good--still can't figure out why these movies aren't better given the high quality content”
“If you're a Harry Potter fanatic, you'll be in tears by the end of the movie. If not, you'll find yourself somewhat entertained for 150 minutes.”
“This movie is a great addition to the series, defenitly recomend to all harry potter fans it will leave you wanting more”
“Jenn bought this not me”
Maybe I should consider downgrading the size of my heart.
