“Anybody who knows me in person or just by my Blippy reviews knows I'm a Netflix-addict. So what does a Netflix-addict like myself, whose 1000+ purchases include nothing but Netflix TV episodes and movies, do when they finally release Netflix for iPhone? He goes crazy. No, literally.
But anyways, I'm ecstatic, yeah; let's move on.
Netflix for iPhone is here! After months of waiting--since this application was released months ago but, sadly, was iPad-only, till now--we Netflix-lovers rejoice as we are able to see, although small-screened, our favorite movies and TV episodes on the go (I can finally go outside of my cave and take Netflix with me!)
Besides all that, Netflix for iPhone still needs some work. It definitely, must, must get an iPhone 4 Retina Display update, soon.The application is also very limited to certain actions, you can't completely manage your Queue like on the website, but I'll take it hoping they have future updates with more control over the application, we can only hope that it is soon.”

“Well for a first release it is a very strong app. However it has been filled with glitches. The biggest two are tons of crashes and sometimes the movie not showing up on the screen but the sounds coming through. All in all, get it and hope for an update. Remember it is free and a first release so you won't get perfect results. 4/5”

“Honestly, it's a mixed bag. The streaming instant queue viewing is great. Can't have any argument with that.
But the failure to manage DVD queue, inability to search for movies that aren't available as instant downloads... what can possibly be the excuse?
I will occasionally stream movies, but *constantly* hear about movies on the go and want to either look them up or see whether I can get them on Netflix.
Yes there are third party apps for that, but why spend all your focus on an edge case while neglecting the core functionality that most users need most of the time?

“Compared to the iPad or even the Xbox, its not all that on the iPod. It's upsetting because it loads at a decent rate, but the quality takes a hit. If your desperate for a movie on the go and don't have a 3G iPad on you, it'll do.”
