Really great mobile version of mint.com. My only complaint is that you can't split transactions on the app like you can on the website, but other than that, it's a great tool.
SoundHound App
SoundHound is pretty amazing, and especially now that you can set it to start listening the second you open the app. It gets every song right that I've ever had it listen to.

Fresh & Easy
Fresh & Easy is a great little grocery store. I love that they sell pre-formed slider patties AND slider buns. And I'll admit, I'm sucked in by their cutesy packaging, but their store brand foods are pretty good. Especially the pesto and tapenade.

I think having a AAA membership is always worth it. Especially if you have an older car. I've had them come out to tow my car, inflate a completely deflated tire, open my car after I locked my keys inside. AAA is the best.

Agreed. Ran out of gas twice in a month (why do I always run out of gas in the middle of a junction, at the lights, or at the entrance to a freeway ramp?). Both times they were there within minutes with gas. Second time the guy offered to tow me 250 miles but I couldn't think of anywhere to go at short notice. Pity, because that was my last free call-out on my wife's card, which she mistakenly left in my wallet when she threw me out. There's always a silver lining.

I had to call them twice in one week. For the same stupidity. I locked my keys in the car (with it running) I was having issues with the remote. It's nice to upgrade to their deluxe package also because then they will tow you from further away. They will also tow our toy-hauler if we break down in the truck. Awesome!

It's pretty cool to be able to access my computer's iTunes library from anywhere in the apartment.

The best little secret in North Hollywood. It's a restaurant food supplier that only opens to the public once a quarter. They have a refrigerator room filled with cheeses and meats, hundreds of different olive oils and vinegars, every kind of mustard imaginable. Jams and preserves, chocolates, and Monin flavored syrups.

One of the better social networking/location based apps out there. Turning life into a game with achievements and points is brilliant. And having a feud with someone in my own apartment building over the mayorship makes coming home from work just a little more fun and slightly maniacal.
Behind The Scenes Eye Primer (by LORAC)
Amazing stuff. It keeps my eye shadow in place all day long, so that by the end of the day, I still look like I did in the morning when my makeup was fresh.
