Definitely. I sat there for about 20 minutes, thinking the movie was sort of cute, if predictable and a little affected. And then within one scene it leapt to a whole new level. From there it just kept getting better. In the end it's both a virtuosic and original bit of filmmaking and a surprisingly touching, sincere story.
