CardStar App
I love this app. I got rid of all those annoying membership cards that used to hang off my keys. To set it up you just enter the number off those cards and it will display the barcode that can be scanned at checkout. It works well and it's really funny to confuse cashiers who have never seen it before.

Instapaper Free App
This is a must for capturing stories, news, blog posts so you can read them later. I use it with twitter clients and google reader clients. If you see something you like, you can read it when you have time.
Green Zone
Enjoyed it. I loved the Bourne movies and this was similar. The plot was a little more realistic than the Bourne trilogy. Good action.

DC Comics App
Recommended by a comic loving friend. I'm not too into comics, but I did enjoy some of the free content.
The Heavy - How You Like Me Now
Got it because it was in a commercial that reminded me of an awesome trip to Vegas.

Katy Perry - California Gurls
Bought it for my wife. Cant escape this song. It's everywhere.

Call of Atlantis App
Sorta addicting. Spent a bunch of time playing it. Lost a couple rounds and it sent me back to the beginning. Haven't played it since.
Audio Flashlight for iPhone 4 App
It's a flashlight.
Three modes:
on/off,
audio (where it is turns on when there is a sound, and its sensitivity is adjustable,
and strobe (adjustable flashing speed)
Shutter Island
Good flick. Previews make it out to be some kind of horror film, but it's really more of a psychological thriller. You think you have the whole thing figured out a couple of times, then you change your mind. It was a good rental. To understand completely you might need to watch it twice, but I wasn't willing to devote the time to a second viewing.

iHandy Level Free App
This is the iPhone app that you show your grandpa to explain how awesome the iPhone is. Then he runs around the house checking to see how level everything is. Then he proceeds to show it to anyone that will listen with an excitement that you've never quite seen out of him before. Then you get calls from him at 7am to come over to his house so he can show his buddy Dale this amazing "Level Phone". Then Dale drops it on the ground breaking the rear glass, and makes some smart ass comment about how they don't make levels like they used to.
The Hurt Locker
Great film. Intense action but thought provoking.
