Bought this as a surprise for a friend who loves Firefly, it was a complete accident that I got it for her the week they showed Serenity at a local theater that shows older movies on Friday nights. So she had the perfect hat to wear to the movie.

I LOVE dressing up in the style of the film I'm going to see! TRON was fun :) I would probably appreciate this a lot more if I'd actually SEEN Firefly/Serenity (I know, I'm way behind, gotta get on that).

Hey I was behind too, first time I saw Serenity was in the theater I mentioned, it's a refurbished old local theater with a smaller screen and removable chairs so they can pull them out for special events, maybe not as comfortable, but still a fun unique theater.

That was 4 years before I was born. :) There's been two new Benji's since then. The daugher I think and another adopted stray. So many Benji movies now it's not funny, there was even a TV show.

OMG No one knows about Benji like I did !! lol None of my friends knew who Benji was when I brought him up awhile back. Lol they had one of his movies for $5 at Wal mart around Christmas. brought back good memories haha.

Oh man, I used to watch this constantly when I was a kid. This and The Hunted (another Benji movie). Good stuff - I'd nearly forgotten about Benji until you mentioned this but he was highly entertaining.

The Raptr iPhone app, it's alright, don't really use it much though, it's pretty much just an IM client for the iPhone.

it works with everything else, but it's mostly gamer related. Since the website tracks achievements and whatnot regardless of gaming platform., on the iPhone it's kind of not much different than anything else, on the iPhone I prefer the Meebo client.

Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths
Imagine an Earth, where the counterparts of the Justice League were actually the villains, Lex Luthor was a good guy, and Deathstroke was the President. That's what the JLA in this movie encounter.

Must have been tough to boil down the whole Crisis story arc into a single animated movie. This takes a bunch of shortcuts and sort of turns into its own thing. Which is fair enough.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crisis_on_Two_Earths What I find most strange is that apparently this was originally intended to be the bridge between the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited cartoons, but because of budgeting they apparently changed it, but they changed so little it still fits. Like at the beginning they are rebuilding the Watchtower, and testing the teleporter, kind of funny that Batman uses Flash as the guinea pig.

I was noticing that it actually still fit the DCAU continuity pretty well -- at least better than most of these direct-to-DVD movies. Wasn't aware of the history behind the project, though. That's pretty interesting. Now all we need is an answer as to whether Teen Titans fits into the DCAU or not.

I really like this movie. It was a Netflix recommendation, and I forgot I had already seen it, but I hadn't seen it in years, so it was nice seeing it again.

One of Kevin Smith's Q&A sessions done as a TV special He went into such detail answering the first question, that he only answered one question. Raunchy in the usual expected way of course. I really didn't want to know about him going to the bathroom thanks, but still pretty funny.

Been buying these books for my mom to lend out or give away. Immaculee is coming to Jacksonville to speak along with a one woman show based on this book on March 11th for a chairty event to help St Gerard Campus, which is a non denominational home and school for young girls with babies. The book is GREAT, I do recommend it.

Yeah, this is one of three animated movies that slot into the TV series continuity. I think this is the third and final. It's either that or the second. Either way, it's set after the TV series and before the Justice League TV show.
