@amyuhrich - How to Eat Fried Worms was a book. I don't think RL Stine wrote it. Holes was written by the guy that did Sideways Stories from Wayside School. Remember those?

The demoscene is a northern European phenomenon where genius kids get together and code things in assembly. They have competitions to crush as much information as possible, in as creative and technically amazing a format as possible, into as small a space as possible. You'll see demonstrations of things you've never seen or heard before, packed into fewer bytes than a written description of the program.
