Inception App
This app is really odd. As an avid lover of the film, I HAD to get it, and now I feel obliged to keep it. Essentially you launch yourself into dreams; they aren't really dreams, but more like the iPhone echoing the sound of your environment in funky dream-like ways that are essentially, nothing like dreams. You have to complete certain tasks within the dreams to unlock new dreams. These tasks include, finding a really quiet place and staying super still. Not all the fun... what is cool is the main interface screen, that shows aerial snapshots of where you completed the dream with an inception-style glow. Also the descriptions of each dream tend to have little quotes from the movie included. Although these quotes don't always fit into the context of the description, it's a nice touch to this really strange little app.

riddlefish Wow, that's kinda nuts! Aren't you afraid the program might be planting something??? ;D
How To Videos: Videojug.com App
I LOVE VideoJug! And this app really highlights how useful it is, videos on practically any topic right at your fingertips!

BATTLE BEARS App
I love the battle bear games! Especially when they're free. This one is great, whilst a little difficult. I don't often like FPS games on the iDevices, but this one works really well because the character is constantly shooting. The analogue stick controlling your characters turning, also controls your firing. Really good fun, and the storyline is hilarious too. Definitely get it!
Buganoids HD App
A really weird game, with really weird controls, yet somehow it works. The novelty wears off quickly, but it's good fun!
chrismolnar what's a buganoid??
Blue Block FREE for iPad App
Great game. If anyone's old enough to remember Traffic Jam it's like that, but with blocks. Translates really well to a touch screen though some levels are SO hard! Love it though, very addictive, and has a great overall feel; with interesting music and sound effects and beautiful graphics.
LetsTans App
It's a nice little game. I'm still addicted! It wasn't very long though. I wish there were more levels...
gkruis Even though that sucks, at least it was good enough to leave you wishing for more.
Can Knockdown App
Absolute rubbish! I have no idea why it got so high in the charts (Why I downloaded it). It's unresponsive, repetitive and boring. Also it's repetitive; there aren't really any levels, you just keep playing till you run out of stuff to throw, then you start from the beginning again. Controls are very clunky and unintuitive, really unimpressive.
Doodle Kart App
This little game is great! You have to get it! I'm glad they didn't use the rotation sensor on the iPhone to control it. It's just simple button controls like the good old days! The best two features include the ability to draw your own car, decide it's characteristics, then drive it. The other great feature being versus mode, where you can hook up with other players via bluetooth and race either alone or with other drivers. Unfortunately I haven't been able that feature yet due to the fact it crashes when you go to play, I'm hoping this will get fixed in a future update though.
gkruis Are all these Doodle games by the same company (Doodle Jump)?
Stick Golf HD App
This app is good fun to start with, then becomes infuriating as the levels are pretty much the same with different colours and track lengths but random levels will be practically impossible to complete within par. I got rid of it because it gets kinda boring, plus the level structure is very odd. The visuals and audio accompaniment is nothing to get excited about either.
FreeAppADay Store: Paid Apps For Free Daily + Game Reviews & Trailers
The load up time for this time is laggy, and it doesn't stop once the app is running and ready to go. The developers decided to use some very elaborate animation and structures to the pages, making it slow and quite confusing to use. The oddest thing about it is, despite being called Free App A Day, it often refers to itself as FAAD, and then has a "Paid" app section. It has a section for the app of the day, (The title suggests it's one free app a day, but there are always 4 displayed!?) then the free apps and paid apps tabs tend to have loads in them. Is this ALL the free apps and paid apps ever? Or the ones that have been teh FAADs in the past? SO confusing, plus the apps offered aren't usually very good. Useless download.
LaDiDa App
Doesn't work unless you have headphones, the song quality isn't great and there's a very limited song-style choice range, only about 5. Certainly not worth the money. But Wheezy Waiter made it look so fun!

The Cracked Reader App
I love the cracked.com site but this app is pretty rubbish. You can't search through previous posts and articles, you can only see the latest handful. Viewing the articles without having to go through various pages and without the ads is great but every link to another article (which they always include at the end of every article) brings you into safari instead of another page within the app. So despite downloading the Cracked.com app I always end up reading the articles through safari.

Besides all that, on the app you can't leave comments, read them or even sign into your account to share the articles through Facebook or email etc. Very disappointing
Osmos App
Finally decided to get this game after being recommended it and reading so many good reviews. It is very beautiful, challenging yet strangely addictive and yet when you get stuck on a level it's so frustrating!!! Deffinitly recommend getting it!

tophtucker love it on my iphone. when i see the windows start orb i want to eat it. and sometimes i find the game running in my head, haha, if you know what i mean -- on and on, uncontrollably. like the tetris effect. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetris_effect)
GL Golf App
I dunno what that pictures about but it's a fantastic FPS, takes you a while to get the hang of the controls but when you do it becomes good fun and really kinda challenging. If you've played any other FPS games on the iPad it doesn't offer much that's new in terms of controls, but the visuals and gameplay are far better than the war games I've seen to date.

City Story™ App
I actually just got the free version and wasn't impressed at all. You essentially build a city, the buildings and roads etc. But you never see any people walking around, no cars or anything. It's incredibly boring and could have been made so much better...
· £5.37 app from iTunes
BATTLESHIP App
I don't get why this game has become so popular. It's incredibly simple, fun but by no means addictive and there's nothing really all that new or novel about it...
Gun Disassembly 3D HD App
Probably one of my favourite apps. Extremely detailed, easy to use and so much fun when you learn how to take multiple guns apart in record times and challenge your friends to do better.

The free version comes with a couple of the most popular pistols, but you can buy more guns, and whilst at the moment there aren't all that many gun models, the creator is constantly creating more and it never gets old.
Alarm Clock HD Free App
This app is great, stunning to look at and very crisp display. More than you'd expect from a free app. The only problem I had with it was that it was so bright I couldn't sleep with it on...
HTR High Tech Racing Lite App
High tech isn't quite the word I'd use. You just have to remember to slow down before turns and it's pretty inconsistent and unresponsive.
BBC News App
Kinda useful but very limited
