Inception
I liked this movie a lot, so much going on. Exciting, I literally yelled some pretty bad words at the ending. But I knew it would end that way. Now that you have read what I just typed up I am going to guess you want to watch the movie if you haven't already. :P

The Social Network felt to me like an early 1970s flick -- as did Zodiac, but in that case I thought it was somewhat deliberate. Something in the pacing and the subtle way that characterization is paired with possible consequence reminds me of movies like The Graduate and Love Story. Maybe Taxi Driver.

It could have been a movie about anything, really; it's the personalities, as defined and explored in the movie, and the way that they lead to behaviors that lead to results in a logical yet sort of chaotic way, that the movie really seems to be about.
All the President's Men could also fit in here, maybe. Not that the above description exactly fits. It does make a good parallel with Zodiac, though, which... sort of sideways illustrates what I'm saying.

Yeah. It's weird, because I can see what you mean, and maybe the Social Network'll grow on me, but right now I'm not on board. Same way I wasn't on board for Zodiac. The problem is this: I didn't like any of the people in it. They were all kind of assholes besides Saverin. And even if I thought it was pretty good a few months ago when I saw it, I don't think I'd watch it again.

Yeah, I can understand that. I think I just tend to approach these things with an emotional distance, watching the action like a lurker in a dark alley across the street. And although that may be inappropriate for many films, I think in Fincher's case that's kind of the perspective he's assuming for the viewer.

That perspective certainly does me no favors when viewing something like, say, Absolutely Fabulous. My wife is rolling around with laughter, and all I can think is, wow, what a depressing situation these people are in.

haha. yeah. in the social network it's people who make the situation depressing, not the other way around. which is actually pretty interesting.

I love all the Police Academy movies, Bobcat and Michael Winslow are my favorite and they make things way better.

Not scary at all, they have too many movies by the same name that came out around the same time and none of them scared me at all. Not worth watching in my opinion.

My mom died back on October 26 so I have been watching some things she wanted to see and they have been quite funny. This movie is great, Eddie Murphy is always funny, I saw watch this movie when you get a chance.

Pretty funny movie. Confused me at times though so not as good as I thought it would be.
The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day
One of my all time favorite movies. I love the cast and the story. I have watched this movie over and over and it never gets old. So many things I wish to say that I liked but I don't want to give anything away. If you haven't seen it, watch the first one and then this one.
Radio
Cuba Gooding, Jr. is one of my favorite actors. He was great in this movie. Takes place in my state, South Carolina, so I obviously had to see it. Great story and great acting = win.
