great movie. bought it after having a conversation about it and realizing that i did not yet own it.
Exit Through the Gift Shop
absolutely loved this "documentary". it was a very funny look into street art. i am still undecided as to whether or not it was set up intentionally this way as social commentary on banksy's part or if the events portrayed actually unfolded this way. given banky's history i'm compelled to think the former. regardless i found this to be thoroughly entertaining.

yeah the MBW shows along with the promotions and stuff look like they definitely happened but perhaps banksy and fairey's roles were not as accidental as they made it seem.

How do these help with the lifts?

without the straps the weights can get too heavy for your hands to hold on to. the idea is that you put the strap around your wrist and then you take the end of it and roll it around the bar such that if the weight was to fall out of the straps it would have to roll in the direction opposite of how it would have to fall out of your hands. this helps to lock it into place. here's a picture to help explain - http://svr225.stepx.com:3388/weight-training/file/81296.jpg

got this for when i use my laptop in bed. i always have the problem of my laptop sinking on to my blanket and overheating. this helps alleviate that significantly. my only complaint is that since the top is kinda smooth, if you hold it at too much of an angle the macbook slides right off. there's an nice gap in the middle, which you can put an external hard drive in which is pretty nice.
