Level 7

Amy Howell

I'm addicted to my Wii, LOST, reality TV, & coffee.
Instagram App
LOVE this app. You can find some great pics on here.
Dirty Dancing
Classic. I was so excited to see this on Instant Watch!
Dirt
I watched 2 episodes of this & it just didn't grab my attention. I'm wondering if it's one of those shows that takes awhile to get into, or if it's just crappy the whole way through.
· tv season from Netflix
Angry Birds Rio App
LOVE this game! I'm a huge Angry Birds fan, so I had to get this as soon as it came out. I LOVE the sounds, graphics, & creative levels of this one. Very colorful & a nice change from the original Angry Birds.
· $0.99 app from iTunes
Doodle Jump: HOP The Movie App
This is a fun little free app if you like doodle jump. I like that it has levels.. makes it less repetitive than the original doodle jump. However, some of the levels are SUPER easy, & I've found one or two to be almost impossible.
Salt
I really liked this movie. I usually get bored with movies & stop watching them to do something else, but this one kept me interested the whole way through. Very fast paced.. and I also loved it because I thought it was unpredictable.
· tv season from Netflix
dive_philospher yea this is definitely one of angie's better works =)
MizzBlaze I'm anxious for the sequel!
My So-Called Life
I used to love this show back in the day! I was so excited to see it on Instant Watch!
· tv season from Netflix
girlfriday Loved this show so much! They have the full season?! Ah... must watch!
lesayoh so awesome!
amyuhrich I think the problem for me was that I watched this show a year ago instead of back in the day. I just really felt like Rickie and Rayanne were the best characters, and I kept getting really annoyed by Angela's oh-so-sickeningly-90s mom (all the parent stuff, really). I probably would have adored it in '95.
Tiny Wings App
I love this game. At first I thought it was too simple to be fun, but I found myself playing it every time I had a few spare minutes to kill.
· $0.99 app from iTunes
gkruis little wings beat angry birds?
amz3122 I like them both for different reasons, but overall I'm still a bigger fan of Angry Birds because there's so much more content/levels in the game. Tiny Wings is a fun "pick up and play for a few minutes" kind of game, but it does get repetitive because it starts from the beginning every new time you play. I'm hoping that since it's new, the developers will make more challenges within the game and perhaps make a checkpoint option.
gkruis That's the great thing about apps. The games grow, but the price doesn't seem to change. The math is on your side.
Memento
I really enjoyed this movie. I ended up watching it twice because I felt like after it all came together, I needed to watch it again to make sure I didn't miss anything. Very creative.
· movie from Netflix
beverlynoelle This is another Christopher Nolan film, isn't it?
girlfriday That's how I felt when I first saw it! Went back-to-back in the theatres.
Soosiz App
This is definitely one of my favorite games to play! This is the closest I've found to a Mario game for the iPhone.
· app from iTunes
impulsebuyer How does it work?
amz3122 you play as a little guy & have to go through levels picking up coins & other little guys who follow you around. you have to jump on enemies to kill them & you jump from planet to planet, similar to super mario galaxy. it's just really neat! :)
Requiem for a Dream
I've never been so affected by a movie. The way it was filmed was absolutely incredible.. unlike anything else I've ever seen. I like that it wasn't all happy at the end.. it really gave the viewers an in-depth look at the hell of drug addiction from various standpoints.
· tv season from Netflix
riddlefish The first time I watched this I realized about halfway through that I had confused it with "What Dreams May Come." They are very different movies, let me tell you. :S
girlfriday I think this should be mandatory viewing for every teenager.
dive_philospher the mozart song in this movie is one of my all time favorites. so EPIC!
Coraline
A friend recommended this movie to me & I'm glad I took his suggestion. It was a really good movie. The storyline wasn't the greatest (I'm sure the book is better), but the visual experience was incredible. Would have loved to have seen this in the theaters.
· movie from Netflix
Jessica12385 I did see it in theaters...in 3D. 3D kinds bothers my eyes, takes a while to adjust, but I do love this movie. The visual was terrific.
dive_philospher this movie was pretty trippy in 3D
gkruis sellick does it again.
Doodle Truck App
Fun game, but I suck at it, so I gave up fairly quickly.
Frontline: The Medicated Child
I work with children on medications every day, so I really enjoyed this documentary. It was very informative & raised a lot of questions that I hadn't thought about before.
· movie from Netflix
riddlefish Hm, interesting. Do they focus on things like autism or broader issues?
amz3122 They focus on autism, bipolar in children, depression, & probably a few other things I'm forgetting.
Up in the Air
This movie was okay. I wouldn't watch it again, but I'm glad I watched it once. The storyline was pretty good & the ending was unpredictable (at least to me). I'd like to read the novel it was based on 'cause I normally like books much more than movies.
· movie from Netflix
riddlefish Yeah, I liked it, but was expecting this to be better. I heard somewhere that the background people look progressively more tired and worn out as the movie goes on. Or maybe it was the other way around... Did you notice?
beverlynoelle I never really got the urge to see this...now I think I might put it off even more! Who was the best in this?
girlfriday @riddlefish Woa, what? Fascinating. Where did you read this?
riddlefish @girlfriday I have no idea. One of my friends read it somewhere and I didn't think to ask them where they found it. Sorry!
productjoy after reading riddlefish's comment about the extras looking tired, i'm totally interested in re-watching this flick!
Saw: The Final Chapter
I didn't know what to expect when I watched this because the reviews were SO mixed. I really liked it, though. I agree that the acting of the new cast members wasn't the greatest, but I think the ending was good. It was a good way to wrap up these movies & it was definitely unexpected.. for me, at least. The person I watched it with had it figured out from the beginning.
· movie from Netflix
MizzBlaze So there's really not supposed to be any more Saw movies? I'll believe it when I see it
Inception
Great movie.
· movie from Netflix
awesome (1) · funny (1) · informative (1) · omgwtf (1)
riddlefish This was gorgeously filmed and put together, but the plot was kinda iffy for me sometimes. What did you think?
CraigF Very good film
Treasure Story™ App
Same as Treasure Isle on facebook.. Nothing too exciting. I could do without it, but I have been checking into it a few times a day.
The Last Song
I liked the book a lot better. The movie was okay.. not terrible, but nothing too exciting & I wouldn't watch it again.
· movie from Netflix
bestfriend did it make you cry?
MizzBlaze How was Miley's acting?
amz3122 no, I didn't cry.. I might have if I didn't already know how it ended.

I don't really like Miley at all, but I actually didn't mind her acting. Obviously it was nothing spectacular, but it wasn't as bad as I imagined it would be.
Cover Orange App
I really like this game. It reminds me of Angry Birds, even though it's a completely different concept. I grabbed it when it was free.. not sure if it still is or not.
· app from iTunes
amz3122 each level has an orange or two and using the tools they give you (boxes, triangles, wheels), you have to make sure all the oranges are covered when a cloud of rain comes over the screen.
