amazing book so far! it's already inspired 2-3 potential startup business ideas. clear and understandable writing style, great book for tech entrepreneurs!

this app has a handful of very nice wallpapers, and a lot of OK but not particularly appealing ones too. i wound up looking for iPad wallpapers with just Google Image Search and found many better results than the images available here. aka, skip it!

a great play-all media player app for when you need to take content with you. generally only handles DVD-sized video frames and probably has a peak bitrate of 1-1.5mbps at most. i prefer AirVideo for WLAN playback! otherwise, and OK solution for many people.

a must-have for travellers and friends/family of people who frequently travel and need to track flights, connect with transit to/from airports etc. already saved half a dozen hours of sitting by the local airport (YVR) by knowing whose flights would be delayed! highly recommended!

a basic but very powerful speech-to-text dictation engine for iPad. seems like a great proof of concept from this developer; can't wait to see additional features in future updates.

double solitaire has become one of my go-to casual iPad games! great interface in both landscape and portrait, good graphics, easy entry to gameplay. i just wish you could customize or turn off the sound effects! otherwise, recommended.

the Kindle app for iPad is awesome! i'm not a big book reader but this has certainly revolutionized the way i think about buying and enjoying books. highly recommended for the younger generation.

an amazing outboard digital EQ / DSP studio module! a 7-year old design that still packs a punch of features and quality. specifically purchased because of onboard room calibration to help create the most accurate listening environment possible with studio monitors (speakers) that don't have DSP built in. highly recommended for project music production studios!

a simple but powerful Sudoku app; best not-so-obvious feature is the teaching/learning mode inside Hints! great to keep up with daily puzzle updates from their server.

this app has become my go-to eBay interface; the only time I use a browser is for unusual combo bid+buy it now items, all other major website features are built-in! great for both buyers AND sellers. recommended!

first GPS iPad app I've bought, so far so great. hard to beat for $2.99. 3 months of turn-by-turn voice directions for free, then something like $30-40 a year after that. great built-in ipod controls, OK mapping (it's powered by Bing Maps, but I prefer Google Maps) and an all-round great way to use your iPad in the car.

awesome update that now supports iPad remote control of your iTunes libraries and Apple TV(s). highly recommended to everyone with a modern iOS-based device.

minor update. rarely use this due to the slower typing on my ipod touch. if only Apple supported Bluetooth keyboards!
