Ticketmaster
I did not like buying my ticket from ticketmaster because I had to pay a convenience fee twice! The original price of the ticket was $62 and they buffed that price up to $72 because there was an additional charge and convenience fee. Then during the final check out there was an additional $3.50 added to the price, again identified as the convenience fee. I hate paying for all of these fees and if I could I would not at all buy from ticketmaster at all but there is no other option for buying concert tickets. Bummer.

There are other options, but it depends on the concert you're going to. I go to plenty of local indie rock concerts and most of the tickets are available through TicketWeb. While I believe they still have a handling fee it's much smaller (and they have the Will Call option, which is nice). Unfortunately, in my experience most big-name bands sell their tickets through Ticketmaster - not sure whose idea this is.

Not really and indie person but I will know what to look out for. The Will Call option is nice and that is the option I chose for this concert but still having additional fees is just ridiculous.

@bintad88 At least they still offer Will Call - I thought maybe they had gotten rid of it because the last tickets I bought didn't offer it.

They offer it depending on the day you buy the tickets to when the show will be. The show I will be going to is on Sunday and I bought the ticket on Tuesday night so I think that is why Will Call was available. Back in December when I originally planned on buying the ticket it was not an option - the only free option was to have the ticket sent to you by mail which would take up to 10-14 days.

@bintad88 How strange - thanks for the info. I had to choose the mail delivery option for my last tickets, but they arrived in a timely manner, so that's something I guess.
