Gamestorming: A Playbook for Innovators, Rulebreakers, and Changemakers ...
Great book for starting your journey in visual brainstorming. There are MANY more ways to do it but this book has a good stab at showing some of the more practical if not slightly dated methods. Key is to take what they have and experiment with new and better ways that suit your personality and needs!

Information Architecture Institute
Yeah well what can you say, I am a designer and the IAI is required membership for anyone serious about information architecture.
· $35 from Paypal
chrismolnar what makes IA different from the regular kind?
Virtual Pool Lite App
One of the best games out there. Fun and ohhh so addictive. Love the way you can hustle and win more money the next time round!
· app from iTunes
Google Mobile App
Don't really use this much as I wpuld hope in the near future google results will be interated end results from many apps
Google Earth App
this is good for locating where you are as long as you know where you are going to is close by!
gkruis also: nice to have the world at your fingertips.
eewei_chen better if it could recommend where to go based on my mood!
gkruis that would be amazing.
Urbanspoon App
Not bad for suggesting places to go, but I prefer yelp reviews. Love the shake it to give randomised suggestions ability.
Ringtone Designer Pro App
Yeah this is brill, albeit a little hard to be precise with. However, it has allowed me to take my favourite rifts from classic rock songs and make it my own personalised ring tone. Awesome!
· app from iTunes
eewei_chen You need to take the song edit it (get the part of the song you want to use as your ring tone) then upload it as a ringtone to itunes and re-download it so it remains as a ringtone ;-).
eBay Mobile App
This keeps me in touch with my online auctions. Many a good bargain have been won whilst I have been on the move!

beverlynoelle What do you like to buy the most? I tend to buy old sci fi collectibles :P
eewei_chen weirdly enough designer furniture. Trends come and go and also circulate so I keep an eye out for one off pieces!
beverlynoelle Oooh I know exactly what you mean. If you live in a major-ish area you can easily find really awesome inexpensive furniture for local pickup...love all the Hollywood Regency stuff I find in LA! Got an amazing early 70s velvet sofa for $50 :)
eewei_chen I live in London so I get European designers from Italy, Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland and of course British furniture from the 60s. It isn't cheap but it lasts and the retro stuff is to die for!
Style.com App
brilliant app. Help me find what is trending whilst out shopping for men's bags!

Paper Toss App
addictive game. love the challenges and look forward to new and wacky updates.
Facebook App
Allows me to get updates and keep in touch with buddies whilst on the go. I hardly ever use facebook on my computer now.
Doodle Buddy App
does not help productivity and can not be compared to any decent drawing software. But if you have kids they will have endless hours doodling and experimenting. up to the age of 10.

Wooden Labyrinth 3D Free App
Love it to bits. Fill time when I am stuck on a train.
gkruis quintessential app.
Art Gallery Free App
This a great way to introduce art to the masses. Albeit it is so small and you really do need to go to museums to see the real thing to fully appreciate the beauty.
Sleep Cycle alarm clock App
I use this app more to see how I sleep during the night rather than as an alarm to wake me up. I love analysing my sleeping pattern. I see patterns when I am stressed and sleep little versus after an energetic weekend and I sleep like a log!
Yelp App
My second favourite iphone app. I love the community feel and ability to see what other people are ranting and raving about in the cities I live and travel to for work and pleasure. Love the real time geo location 3D tool that points out the best places to eat, drink and entertain based on my exact location. Hold the phone up and it point it in the right direction.

eBuddy Messenger App
I used to use this app alot before the skype app came along. Most of my work and buddies are now on skype so I no longer have to suffer any bad Microsoft tech!
toptable restaurant finder App
Love this app as it allows me to keep track of my booked restaurants and rack up reward points to get free meals. The linked in phone service also allows me to get in touch with a dedicated customer service advisor that can sort out any booking issues. This is a money saving app so you put up with a slightly below par user experience to make sure you get to eat in restaurants that you would normally think twice about booking at full price!
Twitter App
This is the app I use the most on my iphone. Why? It allows me to share my thoughts about anything that amuses, interests, shocks, angers, confuses or bores me. I also automatically tweets it to my facebook account so I don't have to go to facebook. Because there is a word limit, it also means I do not have to explain in detail (although a link to a site helps at times) but simply get across the gist of my feelings. After all "who has time to have an online life as well as a real one, or is that the other way around?" - Tweet!
Skype App
I don't know what I would do without skype on my laptop and on my iphone. Not only is it the best instant messaging tool for typing messages but with VOIP and the ability to make voice and video calls, it allows me to be more productive at work and stay in touch with family and friends globally, for FREE, any time, anywhere.

The app could be improved by allowing skype text and video conversations I have had on other devices (laptop, desktop) to be synched up with my mobile so I can revisit them when ever I want. This could be done via the history functionality for example.

Another productivity enhancement would be to allow collaboration and sharing of content from one mobile to another, albeit at a little more basic level (smaller images, shorter videos, focussing on a part of a design rather than a larger whole) as screen real estate is more limited till projection phones become the norm!
