Felix Shnir

Highborn
Got it from amazon appstore -- didn't see it on Market. Very fun little turn based game.
· $0.99 from Amazon
Hilldiggers by Neal Asher
An interesting spinoff about the AIs in the Polity universe by Asher. Talk about some decisions that Geronamid makes and then regrets...
· $11.12 book from Amazon
The Shadow of the Scorpion by Neal Asher
Meh... This is a prequel to the Neal Ascher's Ian Cormac series -- as such, I thought it was crappy. Skip on to the actual Ian Cormac series...

$50 Groupon to CafePress
Not sure how I'm gonna spend this one yet, so add it to the pile of the useless Groupons I already have =)
beverlynoelle Maybe get a custom shirt! Aren't there like...a gazillion CafePress stores to choose from?!
amyuhrich @beverlynoelle Pretty much. I've found the strangest things on there. If you want to buy someone a t-shirt based on a specific trade or industry, that's your place. Once got one for my boyfriend's dad that said "I'm a superhero disguised as an engineer," and a hoodie for my (carpenter) brother with this cool-looking geometric outline of a hand with two fingers missing that said "I play with saws."
riddlefish I've got a couple of those. Do Groupons ever expire?
amyuhrich Yeah, they do. You have to read the fine print because they expire at different times depending on what it's for.
A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
The greatest, and probably the only complete book in the series. Re-reading for the HBOs release -- call it brushing up on "history". Recommended for all fantasy geeks out there as a classic. For all n00bs, this is an awesome book full of awesome.

fnoo What form does that awesomeness take?
1600 BioWare Points
Pheer the Dragon Age 2. Purchased for the DLC stuff, I think my first and only DLC payment ever... Still, its worth for the DLCs, tho so far there just a few things you can get.
· $21.78 from Paypal
beverlynoelle What DLC did you get? Did you get Sebastian?
Consider Phlebas by Iain M. Banks
First Culture book. As such its very weird to me. I read Matter prior to this one and found both to be tangential to actual Culture. Its a good sci-fi book, but I'm more into continuous series than a single universe where a writer drops characters in...

Angry Birds Rio
Yey, got it through Amazon appstore. More beautiful then previous AGs, more polished as well. Just a very fun game to pass time.
The Line War by Neal Asher
The best and also the last in the series. This book is constant action and reveals a lot more of the story as it finishes up the series. Definitely the best of them.
· $7.88 book from Amazon
riddlefish What genre is it?
Polity Agent by Neal Asher
This book drags a bit, but if you stay with th series, each book tells more and is very entertaining. Quiet simply, Ian Cormac kicks ass.

Hehe, I LOVE GELASKINS
· $15 from Groupon
girlfriday Groupon, I love you.
beverlynoelle HOW DID I MISS THE GELASKIN GROUPON?! ;________;
Brass Man by Neal Asher
Asher is good. Not Hamilton, but nonetheless a worthy sci-fi read.

MizzBlaze I've heard good things about this book.
A Fire Upon The Deep by Vernor Vinge
Vernor vinge writes great sci-fi. Even tho the book is over 10 years old, it reads like any good book.
· $7.99 book from Amazon
impulsebuyer wait what? so books don't have a statue of limitations on goodness? poppycock!
fixanoid HHah, well, heinlein is a perfect example where the story gets aged as our species develop ;) or pie, just try reading war of the worlds nowadays...
impulsebuyer true. but classics are forever, ask orson scott card.
