I was initially considering not purchasing this book in order to prevent myself from somehow ending up being associated with Ed Hardy t-shirt wearing dbags like Jon Gosselin and the cast of the Jersey Shore but, alas, Hardy was actually a great tattoo artist. And, a confession: I have a kick ass Ed Hardy handbag. The book ain't bad either.

Most people don't and aren't, a surprising lesson I've learned when mine are exposed. They're completely covered for work and such but, oh the stares on the weekends! Unreal, especially in the Bay Area. I went to the last tattoo expo in San Francisco... now *that* was fascinating. :)

I have both and use both. Sort of depends on my mood. Though the Kindle is pretty awesome when you're outside/at the pool/beach. Battery on the Kindle is pretty awesome, too, if you turn the wireless off. For travel, I stick with the iPad since it's not *just* an e-reader.

The hat picture is the default icon for any Amazon purchase. You can add your own photo by using 'Attach a picture by: search · upload · webcam" feature.

Thanks! I figured that out as I went through several posts. Curious, why the hat? And, re your side note: sure was! I only had it for two months, too. Huge bummer. Guess my advice to anyone who has it is not to demo it on the ceiling in Vegas clubs. :)
