bought a kinect and ea sports active 2. love them both. the ea sports came with a heart monitor, resistance band, and workout program. i'm actually working out and enjoying it. hate the gym, but this i can do.

finally joined their rewards programs, saved some money, and got a bunch of games. love game stop.

bought the gold family pack for xbox live. even though only two of us use it, we save $20 a year. two regular memberships for $59.99 each a year when the family pack with four memberships breaks down to $25 each a year? a bit ridiculous. we're just going to let our friends use them.

some may know them as powerbook guy. new name, same awesome service. these guys were great. i lost my computer to champagne, but they saved my data and hard drive. plus, they gave me great information that i used to purchase my refurbished macbook pro replacement. they're incredibly patient with those of us who aren't up to speed on our geek speak and are painfully honest when all you want to hear is that it's all going to be alright. i admire them for that and thank them for answering ALL of my mostly ridiculous questions.

bought rez hd for the bf. he's completely addicted & we're both excited for the sequel kinect game coming out in june! it's like being on shrooms without the shrooms. a trip when you can't trip. definitely a great game for anyone who enjoys psychedelics.

had to replace my 15.4-inch macbook pro. after a solid 4 years, i finally did it in. champagne isn't so good for the logic board. but, the new one just arrived and i'm so excited. it's absolutely gorgeous. i went for a refurbished machine at the recommendation of apple employees and the powerbook guy, and glad i did. it's the 15.4-inch with the core i7 processor and anti-glare high res wide screen. the computer looks brand new. and, the money i saved is going towards apple care and other nerdy ways to protect my computer from myself. i highly recommend buying refurbished.

Bought an ugly xmas sweater vest and a snowflake turtleneck to go underneath for our Sear's Portrait Studio session. Nailed it. And now, that killer combo is going right back to goodwill for someone else's ugly sweater party needs.

a classic institution that goes back to the days of San Francisco before vegans, vegetarians, and organic/free range/locally grown/cruelty free blew up big. i'm not against any of them, it's just that this restaurant caters to none of those. this place is ALWAYS good. every time i'm here, it's the english cut, mashed potatoes, and creamed corn. spinning salad and yorkshire pudding, of course. sprinkle in some of their classic cocktails and i'm set. dessert? who comes here for dessert?!

perfect for mascara testers. we cut off the brush so there's no contamination & customers can try the mascara without spreading pink eye.

new computer for work. great all-in-one, wireless mouse and keyboard included. built-in camera, Wi-Fi, and good memory. runs on windows 7, which i'm still getting used to. ridiculously easy to set up. no complaints yet.

yet another work purchase. this time it was a tower fan with a remote, multiple settings, and it oscillates. got here in a reasonable amount of time and does what it's supposed to.

after reading good reviews, hearing about it from friends, and my mom pushing to go, i caved. a fancy pizza place? yes, that's essentially what it is. but they also have incredible entrées and tasty libations. will i go there again? yep. am i in a hurry to get back? not really, but it's a good one to keep in the back pocket.
