jacq im really digging j crew lately. they've really been stepping it up.

jacq so, i sort of lust after swimwear and have been eyeing this aussie brand 'tigerlily' for a while. and lo and behold the TJ MAXX in suburban moorpark, ca had a one-piece suit on clearance for $7! Mind you, they normally cost $150+ (http://www.tigerlilyswimwear.com.au)

i went through this phase with converses, dickies, american apparel deep v's, and asics onitsukas.

jacq i usually buy these around the holidays and use them as stocking stuffers. they're miniature sizes of their normal glosses.

jacq this set came with a white, brown, dark purple, green and black eyeliners. the black eyeliner is amazing. super smooth and dark.

can't say i use the other colors much.

jacq some cologne for my boyfriend. i really like this scent.

jacq i dig how eco-friendly urban decay is. all of their products are vegan and not tested on animals. and this set comes with a bamboo case.

bit of warning with urban decay - it is usually packed with glitter. i feel like i'm back in jr. high when I wear some of these colors.

jacq amazing eyelash curler. i can't really go a day without curling my lashes. it's a weird habit - but i'd feel naked without curling and triple-coating my lashes with mascara. this is by far the best curler out there.

question for the makeup savvy ladies out there: what's your favorite mascara? I need to buy a new tube.

jacq i really liked this product! it is non-greasy and super hydrating.

jacq i've used this sample quite a bit. it helps your shadow last longer and stay crease-free. ill probably pick up this on my next trip to sephora.

jacq 3 generous sized eye shadows for only $10. the shimmery nude/pink makes a great base shadow layer. use sparingly though - it is highly pigmented.

jacq really nice palette. i use the middle shimmery light brown shade the most. the eyeliner they provide is really smooth. i recommend it.

jacq i found a brand new ceiling fan at my local goodwill for $25 (retails $100+), and needed to buy extended rod so my fan blades don't hit my slanted ceiling.

jacq im pretty excited for this groupon. it includes 2 outdoor yoga session lasting 1.5 hours. there are several scenic locations throughout the bay area for you to do a downward facing dog to.

jacq i bought some hair dye. i went from sun-kissed light brown to black hair. the so-called 'dark brown' dye is pretty much a dead ringer for gothic black. i feel deceived. i guess that the risk you take when doing drugstore hair color!

TMI: having unkempt legs during this past week's heat wave was torture. had to wear pants everyday!

jacq newly released app. had to dl and check it out. i'm a part of netflix's ideal demographic - I rent films and forget to return them. I probably average 1-2 dvds a month. eek!

jacq this mock-television crew has the wonderful zach galifinakis and matt walsh of UCB sketch troupe in its cast. it is along similar lines as borat where this television crew interviews unsuspecting everyday folk. super awkward and cringeworthy in a good way!
